Yogyakarta, June 20, 2025 — Sista Werdyani, a doctoral student of the Biotechnology Doctoral Program at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), has been awarded Best Oral Presenter at the 5th ASEAN Microbial Technology Conference (AMBC) 2025. The event was held on June 13, 2025, in Surabaya, and organized by the University-CoE Research Center for Bio-Molecule Engineering (BIOME), Universitas Airlangga.
This prestigious award was given in recognition of her outstanding presentation and research contribution in the field of microbial biotechnology. The ASEAN Microbial Technology Conference is a highly regarded scientific forum that brings together experts, researchers, and students from across Southeast Asia to share the latest advancements and innovations in microbial utilization.
The award was officially presented by Prof. Dr. Ni Nyoman Tri Puspaningsih, M.Si., Vice Rector for Research, Innovation, and Community Development at Universitas Airlangga, and Prof. Dr. N. Matuzahroh, Chairman of the 5th AMBC.
