The Study Program of Doctor in Biotechnology serves as an interdisciplinary platform by integrating expertise from 11 supporting faculties. The program has established “Innovative Biotechnology to Address Climate Change Challenges” as its primary research theme, which provides strategic direction for student research activities. This theme mitigates fragmentation while facilitating interdisciplinary approaches across various biotechnology fields. Through five defined study interests, the program aligns individual research projects with its priorities, ensuring focused and impactful outcomes while preserving its multidisciplinary value. The following table summarizes the research topics offered by lecturers in the Study Program of Doctor in Biotechnology, along with the potential collaboration partners, to support students in selecting research areas aligned with the program’s theme.
