Figure 1. Results of the online evaluation: (a) participants’ level of implementation of short-course materials in high school biology instruction; (b) participants’ perceptions of the usefulness of the short-course and workshop activities; and (c) participants’ level of implementation of workshop activities during biology laboratory sessions at the high school level.

Participant feedback was collected through an online evaluation survey. The results showed a highly positive response, with 100% of participants rating the Short Course and Workshop as beneficial. Furthermore, 69% of participants strongly agreed and 23% agreed that the short-course materials could be applied in high school Biology teaching. Regarding the workshop activities, 38% strongly agreed and 46% agreed that the practical sessions could be implemented in school-based learning. These findings demonstrate the relevance and applicability of the program in supporting biotechnology education at the secondary school level.

Figure 2. Percentage distribution of participants’ preferred short-course topics, including the central dogma of molecular biology, DNA isolation and PCR techniques, genetic engineering, and gene cloning and expression.

Figure 3. Percentage distribution of participants’ preferred laboratory practical sessions, including DNA isolation, PCR and gel electrophoresis, gene cloning and protein expression, and SDS-PAGE.

The Short Course received strong participant interest, with the highest attention (46.2%) on the topic Molecular Genetics: Central Dogma of Molecular Biology. The laboratory sessions were highly appreciated, particularly DNA Isolation from Fish and Strawberry (53.8%). Participants also showed notable interest in PCR & Electrophoresis and Cloning & Protein Expression, indicating that the practical activities provided engaging and applicable learning experiences.
